Nine women answered the ad: Mary T, Marnie L, Pat L, Jean R, Dixie L, Susan G, Karen H, Devon L and Brenda S.&nbsp; Their first meeting was at the upstairs room at the Airdrie Co-Op and the rest is history. In 2011, the Airdrie and District Quilt Guild (ADQG) became a not-for-profit organization, and is still meeting regularly and welcoming people who love to quilt or want to learn.<br><br>In 2011, the Guild became a Not-For-Profit and continues to give back to the community through donations, a bi-annual quilt show, and through the sharing of quilting. New members are always welcome.<\/span><\/p><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: rgb(89, 89, 89);\"><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\"><font color=\"#737373\"><\/font><\/span>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nOur Mission:\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14px; color: rgb(89, 89, 89);\">To promote quilting by sharing knowledge and experience through mentorship and educational workshops and to give back to our community by providing quilts to local charitable organizations.<\/span><\/p><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: rgb(127, 127, 127);\"><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\"><font color=\"#737373\"><\/font><\/span>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nGuild Membership Fees\n\n\n\n<p style=\"text-align: center; \"><span style=\"font-size: 14px; color: rgb(216, 216, 216);\">Guild membership is $40 and dues are paid annually at the September meeting. <\/span><\/p><br><p style=\"text-align: center; \"><span style=\"font-size: 14px; color: rgb(216, 216, 216);\">New members are welcome to join throughout the year <\/span><\/p><p style=\"text-align: center; \"><span style=\"font-size: 14px; color: rgb(216, 216, 216);\">and may join by attending a monthly meeting, completing a membership form, and submitting dues.
