In 2006, Devin L put an ad in the local paper looking for women who would like to quilt together and share ideas. Nine women answered the ad: Mary T, Marnie L, Pat L, Jean R, Dixie L, Susan G, Karen H, Devon L and Brenda S. Their first meeting was at the upstairs room at the Airdrie Co-Op and the rest is history. In 2011, the Airdrie and District Quilt Guild (ADQG) became a not-for-profit organization, and is still meeting regularly and welcoming people who love to quilt or want to learn.
In 2011, the Guild became a Not-For-Profit and continues to give back to the community through donations, a bi-annual quilt show, and through the sharing of quilting. New members are always welcome.

To promote quilting by sharing knowledge and experience through mentorship and educational workshops and to give back to our community by providing quilts to local charitable organizations.
Guild membership is $40 and dues are paid annually at the September meeting. New members are welcome to join throughout the year and may join by attending a monthly meeting, completing a membership form, and submitting dues.
Please fill out a membership form and pay your fee by cash or cheque at a meeting.

Many are still members of ADQG and continue to be strong pillars of our guild community.
