About the Airdrie and District Quilt Guild

Below you’ll find a brief overview about the guild and what to expect at our meetings and throughout the year. If you have any questions, please ask any of us at our next quilt guild meeting!

Brief History of the Guild

In 2006, Devin L put an ad in the local paper looking for women who would like to quilt together and share ideas.

Nine women answered the ad: Mary T, Marnie L, Pat L, Jean R, Dixie L, Susan G, Karen H, Devon L and Brenda S.  Their first meeting was at the upstairs room at the Airdrie Co-Op and the rest is history.

IN 2011, the Airdrie and District Quilt Guild (ADQG) became a not-for-profit organization, and is still meeting regularly and welcoming people who love to quilt (or want to learn).

Mission Statement

Our Mission Statement is to promote quilting by sharing knowledge and experience through mentorship and educational workshops and to give back to our community by providing quilts to local charitable organizations.

Guild Membership Fees

Guild membership dues are paid annually. They are presently $40.00 and are due at the September business meeting.

People who would like to join the ADQG throughout the year can easily do so
- please visit our Join Us page for more details
